    Lead Pastor

My passion in ministry is seeing people become more like Jesus (holiness), and those disciples making a difference in their communities, cities, families, and all across the world. The way I have seen this happen is through worship, study, and small discipleship groups. I am a Wesleyan nerd, who believes that through our tradition of Methodism people were revived by the work of God’s Holy Spirit. That can happen again if we as a Church submit to the voice of the Holy Spirit and follow God’s Will through Scripture, accountability, community, gifts of the Spirit, and the greatest of these is love.   Welcome to Good Shepherd!

    Favorite Bible Passage:

“There are different spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; and there are different ministries and the same Lord; and there are different activities but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. A demonstration of the Spirit is given to each person for the common good. A word of wisdom is given by the Spirit to one person, a word of knowledge to another according to the same Spirit, faith to still another by the same Spirit, gifts of healing to another in the one Spirit, performance of miracles to another, prophecy to another, the ability to tell spirits apart to another, different kinds of tongues to another, and the interpretation of the tongues to another. All these things are produced by the one and same Spirit who gives what he wants to each person.”

    1 Corinthians 12:4-11 Common English Bible (CEB)™

Hello! I’m a long-time member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church;  becoming our Administrative Assistant in February of 2016. For 25 years, I served in full-time ministry through Findlay Area Youth For Christ, as a Campus Life Director at Cory-Rawson & Liberty-Benton High Schools.  It's rewarding to see former ministry-teens as moms and dads of GSUMC, striving to raise Godly families.  I love using my gift of creativity and, other rather eclectic gifts, to contribute to lives at GSUMC and beyond.  As I long have, I pray the Kingdom of God prospers in the hearts of Findlay-area families.

Favorite Bible Verses:                                                                                                                     I Thessalonians 2:8 is my ministry theme verse, "...Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well."

Psalm 18:19 is my personal life verse, "He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me."

    Fun Fact:

I’ve been on television 7 times. Beginning with Easter Straker's birthday chair and, most recently, I was front & center in the Today Show crowd at Rockefeller plaza.    (no autograph requests please)
